Obama beats Sen. McCain with $456, 226 in contributions to McCain’s $448, 851.  As of June, McCain was neck-and-neck with Obama, but slightly ahead, an odd position for a Republican presidential candidate, Politico reported.  Republicans are generally perceived to be favored by the defense industry.
